Almond - semolina mould
Ingredients
- 400 ml milk
- 150 g ground almonds
- 75 g semolina
- 75 g caster sugar
- pinch of salt
- 1 tsp vanilla extract, or vanilla bean paste
- 100 ml whipping cream, whipped
Method
- In a saucepan, bring milk, almonds, sugar, salt, vanilla extract (or paste) and semolina to the boil while stirring. Reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes while stirring. Remove from heat and let cool. When completely cooled, fold in whipped cream. Cover and refrigerate for several hours.
