Avocado – lettuce smoothie
Smooth and a very gentle version of a ‘green smoothie’.
Ingredients
- 100 g lettuce, washed, drained, shredded
- pinch of salt
- 1 apple, peeled, cored, chopped
- 1 ripe avocado, peeled, cored, chopped
- 200 ml pear juice
- mineral water
- ice cubes, to serve
Method
- Blend lettuce, apple, avocado, salt and pear juice to a smooth consistency. Pass through a fine-meshed sieve, adjust thickness with mineral water as preferred. Serve chilled with ice cubes.
