Banana curry sauce
Probably a tad 1960s, but an aromatic and gentle – use a mild curry powder mix – versatile sauce.
Ingredients
- 1 shallot, finely chopped
- 350 g ripe bananas, peeled and chopped
- 200 ml whipping cream, whipped
- 1 tbsp mild curry powder
- salt, white pepper
- rapeseed oil
Method
- In a frying pan, heat a little oil over moderate heat. Add shallot, sweat for several minutes until softened. Add banana and curry powder, cook for another 5 minutes. Remove from heat, blend to a smooth consistency. Add whipped cream, mix well, Season to taste.
