Banana - pea smoothie
Neither savoury nor sweet, really – but a tasty and healthy snack; kids like it too.
Ingredients
- 1 small banana, peeled and chopped
- 150 g peas (fresh or frozen)
- 100 g soft tofu, chopped
- handful of mint leaves, roughly chopped
- 300 ml soy or oat milk (unsweetened) – or milk, if preferred
- 2 tbsp salted peanuts, chopped
- ½ tsp powdered aniseeds (optional)
Method
- Combine all ingredients and blend to a smooth and creamy consistency. Pass through a fine-meshed sieve. Adjust thickness as preferred, serve chilled.
