Coconut milk - macadamia sauce
This no-cook, cold sauce is very versatile, particularly good with all kinds of vegetable dishes.
Ingredients
- 100 g macadamia nuts
- 100 ml vegetable stock
- 100 ml coconut milk, unsweetened
- 1 tbsp rapeseed oil
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- spritz of lime or lemon juice
- 1 garlic clove, prepared
- 1 tbsp fresh ginger, grated
- salt, pepper to taste
Method
- Blend all ingredients to a smooth consistency, pass through a fine-meshed sieve. Adjust thickness as preferred, season to taste.
