Jellied fried salmon
Serve with mayonnaise.
Ingredients
- 100 g salmon fillet
- 150 ml milk
- oil for frying (or a knob of butter)
- salt and white pepper
- ½ sachet powdered gelatin
Method
- Heat oil (or butter) in a pan, season salmon and gently fry until just done. Crumble cooked salmon into milk and finely puree mixture, pass through a sieve with the back of a spoon. Dissolve gelatin and slowly pour into salmon puree while stirring. Pour into dish, set aside to cool then put in fridge for several hours, or overnight, to set.
