Parmesan sauce
Good with all kinds of vegetable and fish dishes, adds a nice savoury kick.
Ingredients
- 1 tbsp plain flour
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 garlic clove, lightly crushed
- 50 ml white wine
- 50-70 g finely grated Parmesan
- 100 ml cream
Method
- In a saucepan melt butter, add flour, mix well. Add garlic clove and cook for a few minutes, while stirring constantly. Remove garlic clove. Add wine and stir/whisk for a few more minutes to ensure there are no lumps. Remove from heat, add cream, stir in the grated Parmesan cheese. Serve hot or lukewarm.
