Pumpkin spice latte
Why not include some hyped (2016/2017) must-have drink in our collection… If a sweeter version is preferred, simply omit the espresso (or strong coffee). Nice way to use up left-over pumpkin puree.
Ingredients
- 2 tbsp maple syrup
- pinch of ground cinnamon, ground ginger, ground nutmeg and ground cloves each
- ca. 5 tbsp pumpkin puree
- 1 shot espresso (or same quantity of other very strong black coffee)
- 150 ml whole milk
- 50 ml whipped cream
Method
- Mix maple syrup and spices in a mug, add espresso (or other strong coffee). Gently heat milk and 3 tbsp of pumpkin puree in a saucepan (do not boil) while whisking; when hot, add to espresso / spice mixture in mug. Mix whipped cream with rest of pumpkin puree, use to top mixture in mug.
