Smoked salmon mousse

The chives add a nice fresh taste; if ‘bits’ in your food are a problem, just omit the chives or replace by some finely chopped shallot, added before the mixture is blended.

  1. Combine smoked salmon, lemon juice and cream cheese (plus chopped shallot, if used), blend to a smooth consistency. Season to taste, add chives and mix well (if used). Chill for 30 minutes, serve immediately.
