Trismus

It is unrealistic to give a timeline on the course of events after treatment for trismus as trismus is a sign and a symptom of multiple causative reasons. Each of these, happening in very different individuals, means that it is only possible for the individual treating clinician to advise on what to expect following treatment.

Depending on that treatment, which can range from self-treatment physiotherapy to invasive surgery or even reconstructive surgery, the sequence of events, people involved and length of time becomes so widely variable we would simply advise you to speak with your treating clinician.
